Direct financial donations are of course, extremely helpful, but other kinds of support such as donations for specific programs would help greatly. New and Used computers and related equipment that can be repaired and reprogrammed under the Microsoft Authorized Registered Refurbishing program. We sell these refurbished computers with a keyboard, mouse, computer and monitor for greatly reduced prices for qualified individuals and organizations.
In-kind donations with some inherent value can be directly used or can be redirected to a recycler who can find an appropriate market.
FEDERAL BONDING ARE FREE through the local Job Connect office or through My Journey Home. They are good for six months covers the employer against theft, larceny, embezzlement and fraud from $5,000 to $25,000, depending on the position held with the company. These bonds help employers feel more confident hiring an at-risk worker which include ex-offenders, welfare recipients, individuals with a history of substance abuse and individuals with a dishonorable military discharge.
